All equipment with a plug or batteries is covered by the WEEELABEX regulations. A distinction is made between six categories. CTC is certified in the field of IT equipment.

Electrical and electronic equipment can contain substances that are harmful to our environment if they end up in it. It is therefore important that all residual material is processed responsibly by a certified party and can be reused if necessary. That way, the waste stream will grow less and the economy will become increasingly circular.

Besides the WEEELABEX certificate, we are also in possession of other important certifications and licences in the field of quality management, environmental legislation, information security and the processing and transport of electronic equipment.

The data on data-carrying equipment such as hard drives and SSDs is always securely erased using Blancco data wiping software. Upon request, data carriers can be destroyed (also on site) using one of our shredders. After data wiping or shredding, you always receive an extensive report and a (data) destruction certificate per device. This process fully complies with the WEEELABEX standard, among others.
